SOLD. This Mexico City inspired watercolor travel sketch was included in the exhibit Cafe Sketches at Perry and Carlson Gallery in Mount Vernon, Washington in August 2017.

Santa Barbara Cottage
Santa Barbara Cottage

SOLD. I love this sleepy little bungalow hiding behind cacti in Santa Barbara, CA.  It's a slightly wonky little painting but I have a soft spot for it!

Watercolor and India ink on 140 lb acid-free paper.

Blue Chairs
Blue Chairs

The last days of an Indian summer saw me and my sketchbook cozy on the eclectic deck of my local coffee house in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn.

Watercolor and India ink. For sale now on Artfinder.

Church Avenue in Autumn
Church Avenue in Autumn

SOLD. This painting is inspired by eclectic, eccentric and sometimes down at the mouth Church Avenue and Fort Hamilton Parkway in Brooklyn--my beloved neighborhood of almost 7 years.  I love Brooklyn during fall--something about changing leaves in front of red brick buildings is quintessentially 'New York' to me.  I'm leaving NYC for California at the end of the year and I'll sorely miss the east coast autumn.

This painting is 8 x 10 inches on Fabriano 140 lb / 300 gsm acid free paper.

Pool Noodle
Pool Noodle

It's hot out and a dip in the pool would be divine. Pool noodles remind me of family time with my nephews and hot white cement under my feet as I scamper from lounge chair to the turquoise water.

Watercolor on 300 gsm archival paper.

Green Pool Noodle
Green Pool Noodle

Lounging with a noodle at a hotel pool. I look at this woman and I know that any moment an unruly kid is going to cannon ball into the pool and get her hair-do all wet.  She won't be fazed though---she's cool as a cucumber.

Watercolor on 300 gsm archival paper.

Blue Los Rios
Blue Los Rios

SOLD. A cottage in the historic Los Rios district of San Juan Capistrano in South Orange County. Near the mission, this dusty street has original adobes and quaint old cottages, towering cacti and gorgeous gardens.

Watercolor on 7.5 x 7.5 inch archival paper.

Flo's Luncheonette
Flo's Luncheonette

Waiting in anticipation for a burger at Flo's Luncheonette in Blue Point, Long Island would seem excruciating if not for a cold beer under the retro umbrella and some good people watching.

Watercolor on 300 gsm archival paper.

Jazz Age Couple
Jazz Age Couple

I see this couple every summer at the Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governor's Island.  They are fabulous dancers. So much fun to watch and to paint.  Watercolor on 300 gsm archival paper.
